Shop Policies and FAQ
Due to the nature of our handmade items, all sales are final. If you submit an order, you have agreed to the purchase of the item, it’s listing description and it’s photos. Please read the listings carefully and view additional photos before making your purchase.
In the very rare circumstance a return is granted, it will be in store credit. You will receive a credit for value of the item (not including original, return or additional shipping costs).
There will be absolutely no circumstance where an item that is labeled “Custom” or “Made-to-order” will be returned or exchanged.
We will need approx. 3-5 business days after your item is completed to pack your order. After an item is purchased, it goes back to our workbench for a final polish and inspection before shipping. The 3-5 days allows us to polish and pack your order for shipment. After a large shop update, there may see a slight delay in processing time. Business Days are Monday through Friday excluding these national holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans’ Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.
Ready to ship— Items are already completed and just need processing time before they are dropped in the mail to you.
Custom orders — If you have a specific time frame please make sure to convo us for a time frame on production. If we don’t discuss a time frame for your piece, please assume a minimum of 16 weeks on production before the item is shipped. Some orders may take longer to complete. Please be aware of this before committing to a custom piece. In certain circumstances a custom piece may need to be altered, at the artists discretion, to make the piece structurally sound. This will always be done with the overall aesthetic in mind.
Made-to-order — Items will be designated as made-to-order on the listing if they are made-to-order. Our made to order items include our moonphase rollerball pendants and botanical pendants. They can be slightly customized with a different rose cut stone. If you want to change more than that than you need to convo about a custom order instead of made-to-order. Note: We will never rush an order just to meet a deadline as we feel the integrity of the piece could be compromised. With that being said, some orders may go beyond the designated production time frame. If this does happen, please understand that we are working as diligently and efficiently as possible to complete your order. Should you have any questions regarding your deadline, please message us.
It is your responsibility for the value of your package to arrive safely in your hands with the shipping method you choose; whether that be the item you purchased, or the value of your item if it were lost. To make sure you are covered on both ends, I suggest adding the appropriate amount of insurance to your order when selecting a shipping option at checkout. If your package is lost, I cannot offer a replacement nor a refund. It is up to you to file a claim through Shipsurance in the event of a lost package. I know the first thing that comes to mind when a package goes missing is to write me and ask if I know what happened, but the answer to that is always no. Once the package leaves my hands, it’s literally out of my hands and I know nothing more than you do.
Most precious metals and gemstones will need very little care to keep them looking fresh and new. A few pointers:
- We suggest having your piece inspected every 6 months for wear and gemstone security.
- To keep your piece looking great, avoid wearing in the shower or the ocean and put your jewelry on last to avoid getting cosmetics or perfumes on them.
- You can clean most gemstones in commercial jewelry cleaning solution, but don't submerge pearls, emeralds, opals or anything glued or inlaid.
- We also do not suggest regular polishing as microscopic amounts of metal are removed each time. An occasional polish should suffice to remove any tarnish.
- Many of our matte finishes can be restored with a very soft rub using a Scotch-Brite pad (again, be careful not to scuff softer gemstones.)
Rollerball Necklace Care
Our rollerball necklaces are delicate and beautiful and you should always wear them with care in order to keep them that way. They should never be worn in the shower, you should avoid spilling essential oils on the metal or stones and exercise care when you wear them around children.
All of the above FAQ applies to our jewelry including rollerball necklaces. Different stones are different hardnesses and some scratch more easily than others. If you want care instructions for a specific stone, please message us.
We cannot be responsible for damages to necklaces that happen once you are in possession of the item. If you need a jewelry item repaired please get in touch with us we do offer repairs for a fee.
